1. Definitions

The Client: The recipient of the service and name listed on the booking form

Makeup Artist: Georgia Dyer

The Agreement: The contract that exists between the client and the makeup artist for the agreed fee

The fee: The amount payable by the client to the makeup artist for the services listed above

The event: Relates in principle to the date whereby the event (i.e. the wedding) takes place

The party: Additional members of the bridal party

Deposit -

The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the total cost to the makeup artist. This booking fee provisionally holds the event date. The event date will be held for up to 24 hours following completion of the trial at which stage a 50% deposit of the remaining Wedding Day cost is required to secure the event. The deposit is non-refundable. With other Bookings the booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the overall event cost. In the case of prom bookings where a trial is being held, the prom trial cost will be required as the booking fee. The event date will be held up to 24 hours following completion of the trial at which stage a 50% deposit of the prom day cost is required to secure the event.

Both the contract and deposit must be received before placing hold on the requested day. Contract and deposits are required at least 30 days  prior to wedding date.

Responsibility of the client-

The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition.

The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behavior.

Payment -

50% of payment is required 1 week before wedding date by Cash or Bank Transfer

Then 100% of the payment is required on completion of the service.

Hourly Rate -

If it is requested that the artist stays to complete any additional services such as extra touch ups or any changes a fee of £50/Hr will occur. Unless it is included in the Platinum package.

Assistant Fee -

If it is requested for an assistant a flat fee of £50 will be additional to the booked services.

Photography -

The client agrees that the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages. These will only be posted after the wedding or event. Any objections should be made in writing to georgiadyermuah@gmail.com

Cancellation Policy -

In the event that the client cancels up until 30 days before 20% deposit will not be refundable. If it is within 30 days the entire balance will be required. A confirmation must be confirmed by myself.

Travel -

Travel in excess of 2 hours for a return journey will be subject to a £15 Travel Surcharge per each additional hour. Travel within a 10 mile radius of CM9 will not be subject to any charges. Mileage outside of this radius is charged at a rate of £0.45 per mile. Charges will be applied for unsociable hours. Start times prior to 6.00am will incur a £60 charge.

Insurance -

Georgia Dyer is insured by Simply Business with a public liability indemnity of up to £1,000,000.
